This evening marks the first "debate" for the Democrats in the 2016 Presidential Election cycle. It would be nice if this exercise would result in a discussion of real issues rather than the garbage produced in the Republican debate(s). No "ad hominem," no ridiculous charges, no defamation of another candidate's position so one can "easily attack it," no garbage thinking!!!!
Our politicians have not shown themselves to be very bright bulbs in the past decade or so. They have "dumbed down" their arguments (and then the media has made such "arguments" into talking points). The world is dumb enough already -- it doesn't need any help to misinterpret and overstate.
The voters will decide -- at any rate -- so let's just "present" the information, not proselytize it as divine truth.
