Hopefully Brian and Jeanne had a wonderful time in Savannah. I was only able to spend one night with them (at the Olde Pink House) but I'm sure that was all the time they needed with an old teacher/friend. After all they were in Savannah for their 25th Anniversary, not to see me.
The weather was only partially cooperative --- lots of mist, light drizzle, and fog --- and one pure day of Savannah Fall Sunshine. That was too bad -- but these days with weather; you "takes what ya gets." Today promises still a bit more "moisture" and then a coming dry spell that should last all week in Savannah -- that would be nice.
I am looking forward to moving this week along -- lots of things to get to in my classes; and the Democratic Debate from Vegas on Tuesday night. Should be interesting; I hope. First chance to see Hillary measured up against the other candidates -- but no Joe Biden (at least for now).
This election is one for the books. The Republicans have so many "crazies" running that it mocks the entire process and makes America look even weirder than it is. Yikes.
