Debate for Democrats

Clearly, Hillary Clinton's expertise and composure won the first of the Democratic Presidential debates last evening.  It wasn't even close.

There were oddities: Former Senator Jim Webb (Virginia?) had an odd admission about killing a Vietnamese soldier back in his Vietnam war days -- that was the "biggest enemy he had ever made" (an odd enough question to have to answer made 'odder' by his very strange answer and his "smile" afterwards). Yikes.

Bernie Sanders looked and sounded like an old-time Liberal/Progressive "firebrand" -- not really a leader --and someone who would paralyze Congress even more than it is. O'Malley (Governor of Maryland) sounded like a Hillary supporter; and Lincoln Chafes (once a liberal Republican, then an Independent, then finally a Democrat running for President) just sounded "old" and "confused."

Hillary stole the show by being solid; straightforward; relaxed; and even a bit gleeful.
