Watched the bulk of the Republican field try to win the hearts of voters last night on Hearst/ABC stations. Questions came from the audience via a pretty good moderator and each candidate had two rounds of questions, and a 30 sec. "this is me" presentation to the audience both live and on tv.
Kasich probably came off as the most rational; Cruz the most delusional! Rand Paul seemed a tolerable choice -- none of them will "get the nod." Carly Fiorina (?) the one time leader of HP seemed to out-male the males; while poor Jeb Bush just seemed tongue-tied at times. Too slow; too out of it; too behind the times. Most of the others -- including Pataki, Walker, Perry, etc. just seemed egotistical morons.
Ah, what an election this is going to be --- 16 months out and counting!!!!
